2022年初开始的空间改造项目经历了诸多不确定因素的挑战，起因于工作室和线上杂货铺的需求。这个历经百年沧桑的建筑位于上海核心商业区富民路的富民新邨内，原本是联排住宅，如今被改造成工作室和店铺。房间虽然面积有限，但因非传统的层高显得宽敞开阔。改造过程从拆除开始，旧的墙面和地面材料被剥离，留下建造痕迹和特殊肌理。限制于租用条件和成本，设计师保留并尊重了老建筑元素，同时考虑到空间多功能性，利用一个“大家具”的策略进行统一的改造更新。
大家具”由一张巨大的桌面板延伸而出，与墙体相连，实现多种空间尺度和使用场景的灵活切换。桌面不仅满足办公需求，还兼顾展示功能，内部设计可作为储藏空间，延伸出阶梯状展台。外围部件包括座凳、展架、门洞等，与建筑原有元素错动组合，形成独特的“拼贴画”效果。基于降低成本和简化加工的考量，材料选用基本的木材，如木框和桦木板材，通过拼接和组合，实现了丰富的外观效果和功能需求的满足。
The space renovation project inShanghai that began in early 2022 faced challenges due to the evolving needs ofstudios and online stores. Located on Fumin Road in the historic Fumin Xincun, the century-old building wastransformed into studios and shops, blending old elements with the innovativeconcept of "furniture as architecture."
A large tabletop integrated withthe walls provides flexible usage scenarios, complemented by basic woodmaterials for cost efficiency. In less than thirty square meters, the renovatedspace harmoniously combines old-world charm with modern aesthetics, showcasinga rich tapestry of textures and layers.
